The Apple lossless doesnt work at all - All of the songs that I converted sounded like the chipmunks….The AAC format works fine and the songs sound the same as the original FLAC recording.

Just iike the others said, works perfectly. Drag and drop, automatically loads .flac files into iTunes with metadata intact. Simple it would seem, but it was unbeleivably difficult to find an app that just worked.

Works just like it says it does, drag and drop flac files and voile they appear in iTunes. Note: The app saves a separate, intermediate copy of the converted file. Go into Preferences to have these intermediate files deleted (if you care about disk space at all).

This program was great when I purchased it about a month ago. Now, it works half the time and the rest of the time it acts like it is working…forever. I have to force close. Update??

on mountain lion, never finished. have to force close every time.

Please update it for Mountain Lion…crashes every time !! Good app tho

This fast and simple software converted thousands for flac files for me yesterday. I encounted a minor issue with occansional error messages and contacted the technical support address. I received an IMMEDIATE response. The issue was quickly diagnosed and explained to me what was causing it. This is software that has a foundation under it, and support behind it. I have never encountered this before, even when paying hundreds of dollars for software. This is a wonderful company willing to jump in a make it right if it doesnt satisfy you. So you are not only getting a quck and elegant piece of software that actually works, you really do have engaged, knowledgeable people to back it up. This software is HIGHLY recommended.

FLACTunes is exactly what I needed to get started with lossless formats. It works without any hassle; just drag in your music/folders and it automaticly converts the individual songs and imports them into iTunes by default. Its certainly worth a simple $3.99.

Its really worth the price! It is really easy to use and you dont really to do anything more than drag your flac files into it. It does everything by it self and it is really fast! I loved it!

Very easy to use and does what it says. Preserves all the metadata too. Much easier than trying to figure out command line tools or something. The icon is terrible though.

I had ITunes opened and I launched FLAC Tunes draged my folded of FLAC files. Not only did it convert the files to apple lossless they immediately got imported to iTunes! JUST AWESOME. thanks.

Drag and drop, its as easy as that.

Less bloat and more simplicity. I would much rather pay a couple of buck for an app that does exactly what I need without my having to fart around with it than $100 on an app that can do everything. Its like the mythical unbundling of cable channels, just pay for what you want / need. This app cant be simpler and does exactly what it claims to.
